Timi is a global leadership coach with special skills in Strategic Thinking and Conversational Intelligence. She was a Fortune 200 HR leader for ten years, then she moved into HR consulting for ten years, and transitioned to executive coaching in 1999.    

Recently, Timi co-authored the book Conversational Intelligence® @Work with six C-IQ colleagues. She is also the author of Becoming Strategic: Leading with Focus and Inspiration.

She earned a Bachelor of Sciences from SDSU, has Master Career Coach designation, and Gold Mastery Certification in Strategic Management and Systems Thinking from the Haines Center for Strategic Management.  Timi also has professional certifications in Creative Problem Solving and Community Mediation.

She facilitates learning and positive change through brain-based coaching and consulting utilizing the latest research in neuroscience, Strategic humor management, social learning and positive psychology to help managers and leaders realize their full potential and success. She is an advocate for humanizing the workplace, encouraging optimal brain health and fostering a Mindset of Choice. Formerly, a Learning Experience Facilitator and Executive Coach for The NeuroLeadership Institute (NLI) - delivering Brain-Based Coaching Certification programs along with Diversity, Equity and Inclusion solutions.

Sue Co-authored a White Paper “The Missing Piece: Humor applied Strategically in Coaching.” with Karyn Buxman and is published in “Success is a State of Mind” along with fellow authors Les Brown, Mark Victor Hansen and Deepak Chopra; Authored a paper, “Thrive or Survive, the Impact of Working in Different National Cultures.”

•    With a Major in Educational Psychology, Aberdeen University; Sue gained Coach Credentials at The Hudson Institute of Coaching, & NLI; achieved an International Coaching Federation (ICF) Credential as a Professional Certified Coach (PCC); attended Executive programs at INSEAD and Harvard; The Certificate in The Science of Happiness, Berkeley; Certified Shift Positive Coach; Heartmath Plus Facilitator, Positive Intelligence (PQ) and is a Certified C-IQ Coach. Sue gained her Certificate in the Foundations of NeuroLeadership, became a Certified Stress Master Educator, recently completed a Business Improv program and is a graduate of a 3 year Humor Academy Graduate level Program as a Certified Humor Professional (CHP), Association for Applied and Therapeutic Humor (AATH).
